Hello
I love being a Psychologist because I think every person has intrinsic value and I want to help those who are struggling with emotional distress. I can walk alongside people during some of the most difficult times in their life and I have the joy of seeing them recover.
My Story
I first knew that I wanted to be a Clinical Psychologist whilst I was studying Psychology at University in Bristol. I started my career in the NHS in 2001 and went on to qualify in 2006. Since then, I have worked in both the NHS and private sector with adults, children, young people and families.
I have over 25 years experience and am highly trained to offer a range of psychological therapies including EMDR, CBT and Mindfulness. I currently work solely in private practice and specialise in working with people with trauma, PTSD, Anxiety and Depression. I also have experience of working with people with neurodiversity, including Autism.
I understand that it can feel a little daunting to start therapy, so I do my best to put you at ease to enable you to be honest about yourself and the challenges you are facing.
